Math Makes Cents
Math Makes Cents is a comprehensive after school enrichment program that uses the principles and habits of fashion design and entrepreneurship to strengthen measurement and algebraic thinking skills. Once a week, students will work under the apprenticeship of a master leather craftsmen and their math and art teacher to design and produce a leather backpack. Part of the design process will be to figure out production cost for their item.
